Achievments & Accolades
I held my First, and thus far, my only Solo Exhibition at the Linnear Gallery at Noarlunga in 1997. The Exhibition was called “Emergence” and included the first 14 “Thurkettle” paintings. In terms of sales, the exhibition was a dud, but in terms of a milestone of personal development, its success was immeasurable.
I am an Associate Member of the Royal South Australian Art Society. I joined as an Ordinary Member when I was studying with Barbara Leslie, and to become an Associate, I received three merit awards for submitted works, These awards are granted by the Fellows of the Society.
I am also a member of The Adelaide Art Society.
I won the Royal Adelaide Show Art Purchase Prize in the year 2000.
I have exhibited at numerous Art Exhibitions and had varying degrees of success.
I was a participating artist in the 2004 Fringe Festival event in Macclesfield, and similarly in the Macclesfield SALA (South Australian Living Artists) celebrations.
