VENETIAN TURPENTINE: an oleoresin obtained from species of Pinus, will degrease skin and can cause dermatitis. It is a central nervous system depressant and can cause headache, dizziness and nausea. Prolonged breathing of high concentrations can cause loss of coordination, unconsciousness and death. It is moderately toxic by ingestion, causing nausea, vomiting and pain. Effects of exposure are cumulative. Repeated exposure can cause central nervous system disorders.
