Human pituitary stained using the 'Orange G/Acid fuchsin/Light green' technique. Formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue, 4µm thick section.
Result: Acidophils - orange/yellow
Basophils - magenta red
Chromophobes - grey/green
