SAFETY DATA - I

IMIDAZOLE: is an eye, skin and respiratory tract irritant. It can be absorbed through the skin in doses sufficient to cause toxicity. It is toxic by ingestion although the levels have not been quantified.
EYES - Code 2: SKIN - Code 12: INHALED - Code 15: INGESTED - Code 17

INHIBISOL: is a toxic substance and an eye, skin and respiratory tract irritant. It affects the central nervous system and causes liver and kidney damage. Hypersensitivity can develop from skin contact. Inhalation causes coughing, dizziness, dullness, laboured breathing and unconsciousness. Ingestion will cause abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Serious exposure may be fatal.

IODINE: is a toxic and corrosive solid which attacks the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. It can cause kidney damage and can be absorbed through the skin in doses large enough to cause toxicity. Inhalation can cause erosion of the respiratory tract. Over-exposure to iodine vapour can be fatal. This is a very dangerous substance and should be handled with extreme care.

IRON ALUM: is an eye and skin irritant and is mildly toxic. Ingestion will cause severe abdominal pain.
EYES - Code 2: SKIN - Code 5; INHALED - Code 15; INGESTED - Code 20

IRON OXIDE (Rouge): is a skin, eye and respiratory tract irritant. It is toxic by ingestion causing gastrointestinal tract discomfort, diarrhoea and vomiting. Ingestion of large amounts may eventually lead to hepatic coma and death.
EYES - Code 2; SKIN - Code 12; INHALED - code 14; INGESTED - Code 21

ISOPENTANE: is a flammable liquid and should never be handled close to heat or naked flame. The vapour is heavier than air and can travel along the ground for a considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back. It is an eye and respiratory tract irritant and a central nervous system depressant.
EYES - Code 2; SKIN - Code 12; INHALED - Code 15; INGESTED - Code 23

ISOPROPANOL: is a flammable liquid and should never be handled close to heat or naked flame. Vapours are heavier than air and can travel along the ground for a considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back. It is a severe eye, skin and mucous membrane irritant and a central nervous system depressant. Death may occur from respiratory paralysis.
EYES - Code 2; SKIN - Code 5; INHALED - Code 16; INGESTED - Code 24

TETRA ISOPROPYL PHOSPHORAMIDE: is a potent cholinesterase inhibitor and is highly toxic by any route, including skin. Small quantities may be fatal. This compound should be handled with great care.
