Brick and Stone Niche

The lion's head bird bath in the middle is real, and the niche was painted around it.
The stone border was unfinished at this stage, but is shown finished in the detail.

The mural was painted for optimal viewing on a sunny day, around 11:00am.
(This photo was taken later in the day, so the shadow of the bird bath does not match that of the border.)
