Do you know of any free or low cost Nudist Friendly camp-sites in Australia ?. Perhaps you know someone who owns a property by a river or adjacent to a beach which is accessible to cars towing a van or camping trailer
  and that person would allow nudists to camp there, if so please let us know by

We do not run our place as a business as such but we welcome any nudists who happen to be in S E Qld when we are in attendance. We have gathered quiet a list of nudists during our travels(or should I say Nomadic Lifestyle) and we send out a group email or group SMS advising when we will be at Carters Ridge.   ~~~  Tarriff: No tarriff, just the company of like minded nudists is fine. Directions: About 500m North of Aswelikeit which is appox 19kms west of Cooroy. Nude/clothes optional Basically nude,but if someone's wife had a problem removing all - we wouldn't chuck a wobbly. MARY KATHLEEN (Submitted by Bruce & Julie) Bruce here from Carters Ridge,thought I should let you know of our nude stopover on our way to Darwin each year. Mary Kathleen is an old mining ghost town halfway between Mt Isa & Cloncury,it is a couple of Kms off the highway on an old unmaintained bitumen road.When you get into the old town if you go right to the eastern (or Cloncury) end you will see a little monument I have built which holds a visitors book for Nudists. I will attach photos of same, Mary Kathleen is listed in Camps 3 & 4 touring bible(camp 305).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   Re, directions,. Agnes Water and the village of 1770 (so named because of Captain Cook landing there,) is on the central coast of Queensland. Approximately half way between Gladstone and Bundaberg. It's the furthest point north that we get surf. The beginning of the Barrier Reef. We (John and Joan) live a nudist lifestyle on our secluded 40 acre block 15 minutes out of Agnes Water, Queensland. We lived in a van for the first 2 years while I built our home, and now we keep that area as a camp ground for self contained travelling nudists. There are 2 national parks, isolated beaches (not in school holiday times though), as well as miles of nude bush walks around our block. A hot shower, or open air bath tub, composting toilet, B.B.Q. and open fireplace. Rainwater drinking water also, are the only amenities there is, except for "Happy Hour on the verandah". We live by our motto,"We're small on amenities, Big on hospitality". Fees are a donation to cover our costs. Remember, we are not a club, not a resort. Access is via a generally good dirt road and restaurants and small shops are not too far away. The fact BRSC is a Nudist Club is not hidden, all the neighbours know  and when gaining Mareeba Council approval for the various buildings they were also informed.  BRSC is situated in a bush setting . Fascilities include :- A Club House, wood & gas Stove, all cooking utensils, cutlery & crockery. There is an amenities block and camping sites without power. You can take bush walks, a dip in the on site creek or just relax in a tranquil & safe environment of a family orientated nudist club. They have nudist functions, BBQS & Club Outings. The premises are kept locked and all members have a key to the gate. (a) It is private property but they are happy that people use it and its maintained by the Collinsville sportfishing club

(b) No fee for camping as long as you leave only your footprints

(c) Its such a large area you won't bother the textiles up the end where the toilets showers are, as long as your dressed when you go up there

(d) Turn off 3 klms north of Bowen, head out to Collinsville (80km bitimun road) turn right to Strathmore station (17km) then Bowen River pub (13 klm) then first right past pub past Mt Wickham Cricket club (Australias largest cricket club even Don Bradman played there) then through the gate and your there..........total of 25km dirt road

**** TOWNSVILLE NUDIST CLUB

This is a  members club situated only 25 km from the city, it is the friendliest club we have ever visited.
This is a Nudist Club  where you can enjoy a nudist lifestyle in a rural setting with peace & security guaranteed. It is a family oriented club where single parents are also catered for and visitors made most welcome, we called in for a few days and stayed five weeks.
FACILITIES Include - Modern toilet block with Hot showers, Well equipped Kitchen with two gas stoves and recreation area, playground, Miniten, Petanque, 9 hole golf, Swimming.
A fridge and feezer are powered on function nights or weekends by a generator. there is a good supply of quality drinking water .
CAMPING FEES  (Please check Fees as they may have changed since we were there)
Caravan & camping sites are charged at $5.00 per night for two people. (there is no electric power to campsites but we did not find that a hardship when we were there for 5 weeks ).
There is a club van which can be hired at $10.00 per night

```````` Townsville North Saunders beach Townsville North Saunders beach to the north is a few kms further north from Woodlands CP which itself is about 15 km's north of the city. Turn east at sign to Saunders Beach. At the junction just before sea turn left to car park camp -textile. Free camping for 2 nights in a rather small dirt car park on the beach front. Water and loos. If you go right at the junction just before the sea and go to the end and park and then walk south to the right along the beach across a creek mouth there is plenty of secluded space for nude sunbathing. It's a wide sand beach backed by trees and the water is shallow at low tide. No facilities.

Alan Marshall is the owner of this non-profit nudist park on his 12 acres of bushland, that had excellent facilities including hot showers, toilets, town water, powered sites that can accommodate caravans. Alan has done all the building work…a labour of love. 

  

  

I have stayed there, as have many dozens of other nudists in the 2 or 3 years that it has been open.  

It is not a business and all use is by donation, to reimburse for power & water used and maintenance performed and to keep it neat and tidy.
