Do you know of any free or low cost
Nudist Friendly camp-sites in Australia ?. Perhaps
you know someone who owns a property by a river, or adjacent to a beach
which is accessible to cars towing a van or camping trailer and
that person would allow nudists to camp there, if so
please let us know by
Running Bare
Situated near Narrabri NSW
We know this is not a free
Camp Site but we stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute.
Tarriffs start at a reasonable $18.00 a night
or $100.00 per week for camping or you can take a powered site for the
same price that is including the GST.
For cabins (4, 3 or 2 birth) a night it will
cost you just $35.00 inc GST.
Anyone staying longer than 3 months then that
is negotiable.
The Above prices are for a family unit there
is no charge per head for children.
**There is a new inground
pool .**
Running Bare is very easy to access and all
the sites are flat and level. It is an operating farm and large vegetable
garden. Everyone seems to just want to stay on and never leave so they
must be doing something right.
visitors soon become part of a large family
as there are 8 permenants here now and there are more people looking at
stopping here permanently.
Running Bare is situated 20km from Narabri
just off the Newell Highway, if you are heading for Coonabarabran and it
is a pretty good road (dirt) into the property. Facilities include 2 ablution
blocks with hot and cold water, a tennis court and a swimming pool.There
is a large barn which is the club house and has a fully equipped kitchen
for all to use.There is also an outside cook house with two barbecues and
a four burner stove with a grill.
The local Tourist attractions include Mt Kaputar,
the Australian Telescope, and when in season you can take a tour through
the Cotton Gins. Narrabri is in the heart of the cotton growing areas,as
well as the numerous grains.There are other places to see but we haven’t
been there yet so cannot tell you about them with any authority.
