48. Francis Vernon⁵ Hansen (Mater May⁴ Allengame, Henry George³, Jane² Allinghame, James¹) was born in Tailem Bend, South Australia 8 May 1916.

He married twice. He married Rita Wheare Tregilgas. Rita was born 10 November 1925. He married Ida Marion Bartrop 5 May 1941. Ida was the daughter of Harvey Bartrop and Merinda Bartrop. Ida died 8 April 1976.

Francis Vernon Hansen and Ida Marion Bartrop had the following children:

+ 91 i. Gaye Dianne⁶ Hansen was born 2nd October 1945.

+ 92 ii. Merrilyn Rhonda Hansen was born 20 March 1948.
