The Mysterious Grand Poo-Bah

 

The Grand Poo-Bah is the official title of our founder. 

 

As you may have deduced, this is not a man who takes himself too seriously. 

 

Nigel Holden is an adoptive father, founding member and former President of the award winning South Australian Chinese Adoption Support (SACAS).

 

Over the years "Nige" has contributed to the inter-country adoption community in a diverse variety of ways.  From running events; securing grant funding; achieving legislative change; and even dressing up as a giant panda.  In fact some people have noted that he may in fact have an unhealthy obsession with fancy dress!

 

But his true passion is fatherhood.  Nige believes that men - both prospective and adoptive fathers -  have a vital role to play within our community and the adoption space in general.

 

Nige currently lives in Adelaide with his wife and Chinese born daughter along with a growing menagerie of pets including two cats - which as a dog-person he dislikes intensely.
