The Curry Club Charitable Work

At The Curry Club we believe that good fathers look after the best interests of their children ; but that great fathers look after the best interests of all children.  We aspire to be great fathers and that's why we believe that we have a duty to help children and families within our own community as well as those less advantaged living overseas.

The Curry Club typically raises money by requesting gold coin donations from our members at each event to support charitable activities overseas.  However we may also conduct specific fundraising activities such a cooking at community events in support of our own communities.

Oxfam Australia is the chosen charity of The Curry Club.  They conduct some fantastic work in countries around the world - including many of the birth-countries of our adopted children.

Oxfam Australia also produces a wonderful range of gift cards and The Curry Club uses these cards to send our thanks to people who are doing good things within the adoption space.  Typically the recipients of these cards are volunteers who give their time to help our children and communities.  Sometimes the cards are also sent to people in authority who have improved the adoption space in Australia - or who have the potential to do so.  We believe that expressing our thanks to those who make a difference is an important way of maintaining a healthy and supportive adoption space in Australia whilst also improving life for those in other countries.

Charity begins at home : but it should not end there.
